Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

1. Scope and Our Approach

This policy covers this public website, not every Edge Secure client service or company-wide data practice. It explains information Edge Secure may receive through this website, information that remains only in your browser, and information that may be processed by providers used to operate, measure, secure, and manage the site. We aim to collect only information reasonably useful for those purposes.

Contact notice at collection

The inquiry form collects your name, company name, email address, telephone number, company size, selected service, preferred contact method and message, including any information you choose to put in it. These contact identifiers, business details and inquiry contents are used to respond, arrange requested follow-up and maintain inquiry records. Our intake and HighLevel CRM providers process submitted inquiries; email providers process inquiries you choose to send by email. Tool answers and UI-only page context are not automatically attached.

For these inquiry categories, retention criteria are the time needed to handle your inquiry and follow-up, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. No fixed retention duration is represented here. Hosting/security logs are described separately below. Submitting this form is not blanket consent to promotional calls or texts. See Your Choices and Requests below for privacy questions and requests. This website notice does not establish company-wide sale/sharing status or certify legal compliance.

2. Information You Provide

When you contact Edge Secure, schedule a consultation, request information, or submit a form, we may receive your name, business name, email address, telephone number, message, service interests, and other information you choose to provide.

Please do not submit passwords, authentication codes, private keys, payment-card data, Social Security numbers, patient records, privileged legal material, vulnerability scan results, or other highly sensitive information through general website forms or free tools.

3. Interactive Tools and Local Browser Storage

Assessments, calculators, readiness tools, improvement tracking, scores, history, and saved planning baselines may be stored in your browser using local storage so the site can remember progress on that browser/device. This is localStorage, not a cookie, and does not synchronize to another device. Anyone using the same browser profile on a shared device may see saved answers and results.

Information stored solely in local browser storage is not automatically transmitted to Edge Secure merely because you use a tool. You can clear saved tool history from the Tools area or through your browser's site-data controls.

If you deliberately email, submit, upload, or otherwise send a report or result to Edge Secure, the information you choose to send is no longer local-only and may be handled as a business inquiry.

4. Cookies and Browser Storage

The website uses localStorage for requested tool progress and your privacy choice. Customer reviews are first-party static text and load no review-provider resources. Optional Google Analytics runs only after an explicit analytics choice and without Global Privacy Control. Advertising tags are not enabled. See the Cookie Policy for the storage inventory, purposes and retention.

Privacy settings in the footer lets you allow or withdraw optional analytics. Necessary only keeps analytics off while local tools and inquiries remain available. Browser site-data controls can clear older provider cookies; removing the widget does not undo prior processing.

5. Analytics and Marketing

With your explicit permission, Google Analytics measures public page views, approved referrer origins, tool starts and completions, contact-button clicks and accepted inquiries to improve this website and understand inquiry journeys. An accepted inquiry means the intake endpoint confirmed acceptance, not that CRM delivery has been verified. We do not send form entries, contact details, tool answers, scores, findings or report content to analytics. Page addresses exclude query strings and fragments and use known public routes; analytics titles are fixed, not taken from tool reports.

Before permission, the Google tag is not loaded and no Google analytics request is sent by this integration. Google Analytics may set first-party _ga and _ga_YDYSKFSC57 cookies, assign browser/client and session identifiers, and process technical connection data, including IP address and browser information. Reports may include device information, approximate geography and engagement information. These identifiers are different from the contact details you submit in a form. Analytics is not anonymous merely because we exclude form answers. Google Signals and advertising-personalization options are disabled in the website configuration; no User-ID is supplied and automatic enhanced measurement is not used. See Google’s privacy information.

Necessary only and withdrawal stop new measurement. Withdrawal clears this site’s GA cookies, not tool history; if Google has loaded, the page will reload to stop its code, which may lose unsaved edits. It does not erase previously received analytics or submitted inquiries. No permission is banked for advertising or future providers. Cloudflare’s browser beacon remains disabled; optional browser RUM is not included in this choice.

6. CRM, Scheduling, and Business Communications

The contact form sends your inquiry through Edge Secure’s intake endpoint to our HighLevel (GoHighLevel/LeadConnector) CRM. Contact details, your message and the selected service are submitted to respond, arrange requested follow-up and maintain business records. The UI-only page context shown beside the form is not included in the inquiry payload; include relevant context yourself in your message if you want to send it. Tool answers and saved reports are not automatically attached. Hosting request logs may separately include a requested URL or referrer; this is not a claim that the UI context is sent to the CRM. Submitting an inquiry is not a confirmed appointment or blanket consent to promotional calls or texts. This requested processing is separate from the browser-storage notice; no optional permission is required to contact us.

7. Hosting, Security, and Technical Logs

Cloudflare provides operational traffic/security analytics as part of serving and protecting this website; these request statistics and hosting/security logs are separate from optional browser analytics and are not switched off by Privacy settings. Hosting, content-delivery, security, and infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser/user-agent information, errors, and security events. Edge Secure uses reasonable safeguards, but no Internet service or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. How We Use and Share Information

We may use information to respond to inquiries; provide requested information or services; schedule consultations; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website; understand website usage; maintain business records; prevent abuse; and comply with applicable obligations. We may disclose information to providers supporting hosting, CRM, email, security, and related requested functions, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and security.

9. Customer Reviews and Third-Party Links

Selected customer reviews originally posted on Google are republished with permission as first-party text. They are static selections, not a live or complete Google review feed. Viewing the cards loads no ReputationHub, HighLevel/LeadConnector or Google review resources, remote reviewer photographs, or review-provider measurement.

Following a Google review link leaves this website and contacts Google under Google’s Privacy Policy (new tab). Other external links work similarly. Our inquiry CRM remains a separate use of HighLevel; see HighLevel’s Privacy Policy (new tab).

Font delivery

Inter typography is served from this website. Font loading does not make a request to Google Fonts. This does not make the whole website free of third-party services; submitted inquiries and external links are described separately.

10. Retention

Edge Secure retains information it receives for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legitimate business and security needs, contractual requirements, dispute resolution, or applicable obligations. Local tool data remains under your browser's control until you clear it, the browser removes it, or older runs are replaced as newer saved runs exceed the history limit of the latest 100 saved runs. No timed expiry is configured for that local history.

Our Google Analytics property is configured for 14-month user and event data retention, with retention reset on new user activity turned off. This setting does not impose a 14-month deletion period on aggregated standard reports, browser cookies, submitted inquiries or hosting/security logs. Cookie lifetimes and browser controls are described in our Cookie Policy.

11. Your Choices and Requests

You may ask Edge Secure to review, correct, or delete personal information Edge Secure maintains about you by contacting [email protected]. We may verify a request before acting and may retain information where reasonably necessary or legally permitted.

These choices do not delete information you intentionally submitted or copies you downloaded. Because local-only tool data is not automatically transmitted to Edge Secure, Edge Secure cannot identify or remotely delete it. Use Clear Saved History or your browser's site-data controls.

12. California and Other Privacy Laws

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides rights to know/access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal treatment, where applicable and subject to exceptions. Applicability depends on statutory criteria; this website notice does not determine whether Edge Secure meets them. Sale can include nonmonetary valuable consideration; sharing has a specific advertising meaning and is not every provider disclosure. Contact us using the email or telephone below about website information or to make a privacy request, including through an authorized agent. We may need proportionate identity/authority verification for access, correction or deletion, but website optional-service rejection does not require an account or identity verification.

Global Privacy Control and website choices

Global Privacy Control (GPC) is checked on page load, window focus, page restoration and preference changes. GPC overrides optional analytics permission, including an already-open preferences panel. Legacy records never grant analytics permission. GPC denial is saved when storage is available; later signal absence never restores old permission. If storage is blocked, denial remains effective for this visit, but saving across visits cannot be guaranteed. Clear old site preferences with browser controls. This is not a company-wide opt-out confirmation or consent to company-wide sale or sharing; contact us about previously submitted or offline records. See the Cookie Policy for storage controls and their limits.

13. Children

This business website is not directed to children under 13, and Edge Secure does not knowingly design its tools to collect personal information from children.

14. Policy Changes

We may update this policy as the website, analytics, CRM, hosting, or business practices change. The date above identifies the current version.

Edge Secure / Privacy

Your privacy, simply.

We’d like to use Google Analytics to improve this site and understand what leads to an inquiry. Optional analytics measures page views, referrers, tool starts and completions, contact-button clicks, and accepted inquiries—not your form answers. No advertising tracking.

Your local tool history still works either way. Change or withdraw your choice anytime in Privacy settings. Closing changes nothing.
