Terms of Use

Last updated: September 18, 2026

1. Website Terms

By accessing or using this website or its public tools, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or tools. These Terms govern your use of the Edge Secure website, public educational content, assessments, calculators, prompt library, downloadable materials, and other website features. Paid client services are governed by the applicable written service agreement, statement of work, order, or other client contract. If a client agreement conflicts with these website Terms regarding paid services, the client agreement controls for those services.

2. Informational and Educational Purpose

Website content and free tools are for general informational, educational, and planning purposes. They are not legal, accounting, financial, insurance, or regulatory advice; a penetration test; formal security or compliance audit; certification; attestation; underwriting determination; or guarantee of a particular result.

3. Assessments and Readiness Scores

Assessment results depend on user-supplied answers and assumptions. Scores, Technology Readiness indicators, recommendations, and improvement items are educational indicators only. A high score does not mean an organization is secure, compliant, insurable, resilient, or protected from incidents. A low score does not by itself establish that a particular control is legally required or that a vulnerability exists.

4. Calculators and Financial Estimates

IT Budget Estimator: results are planning scenarios based on user-provided information and editable assumptions. They are not Edge Secure quotes, proposals, market-value determinations, or promises of actual cost.

Downtime and cyber-incident estimators: results are hypothetical scenarios and do not predict actual financial loss, recovery time, insurance coverage, legal exposure, penalties, or business interruption.

Actual costs and outcomes may differ materially because of environment, contracts, vendors, business model, staffing, insurance, recovery capability, incident circumstances, and other factors.

5. Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Insurance Content

Edge Secure may explain security controls, frameworks, readiness concepts, and technical practices. Website content does not determine whether a law or framework applies to your organization and does not certify compliance. Cybersecurity risk cannot be eliminated, and no control or service guarantees prevention, detection, or recovery from every incident. Insurance requirements and coverage decisions are determined by the applicable carrier, broker, policy, and underwriting process.

6. AI Content and Prompt Library

AI-related materials and prompts are examples for business use. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or inappropriate for a particular use. Users are responsible for reviewing output and for avoiding submission of confidential, regulated, privileged, credential, or other sensitive information to systems not approved for it.

7. No Client or Professional Relationship From Website Use

Using this website, completing a tool, downloading a report, sending a general inquiry, or receiving automated information does not by itself create an MSP/MSSP client relationship, fiduciary relationship, attorney-client relationship, or other professional advisory relationship. A paid Edge Secure engagement begins only as provided in an applicable written agreement.

8. User Responsibility

You are responsible for information and assumptions you enter, evaluating recommendations before implementation, and obtaining appropriate professional advice where necessary. Do not enter credentials, private keys, payment-card information, patient records, privileged legal material, or other highly sensitive information into general website tools or forms.

9. Acceptable Use

You may use the public site and tools for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You may not intentionally disrupt the site; attempt unauthorized access; bypass security controls; introduce malicious code; use automation that materially degrades the service; misrepresent tool results as an Edge Secure certification or audit; or reproduce, resell, or commercially redistribute substantial portions of proprietary tools or content without permission.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, Edge Secure owns or licenses the website design, original text, assessment structures, calculators, branding, graphics, and other original content. Third-party names, trademarks, standards, and resources remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party services, including hosting, analytics, CRM, scheduling, Microsoft, Google, government resources, and other providers. Edge Secure does not control third-party websites or guarantee their availability, accuracy, security, or privacy practices. Third-party services may be governed by their own terms.

12. Privacy, CRM, and Browser Storage

Your use of the website is also subject to the Privacy Policy. Contact inquiries are routed through Edge Secure’s intake service to the HighLevel/LeadConnector CRM to handle your request. Selected Google reviews are republished with permission as first-party static text, not a live or complete feed. Reading the cards loads no review provider; following a Google link leaves this site. Removing the old embed cannot undo prior processing or delete another site’s cookies. Google Analytics is optional and loads only after explicit permission. No advertising permission is requested. The Cookie Policy describes localStorage (not cookies), sessionStorage and your controls. Global Privacy Control is recognized; all legacy optional permissions remain off regardless of the signal. Acceptance of these Terms is not optional-service consent or a company-wide opt-out confirmation.

13. Website Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, remove, or update website content and free tools without notice. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free. Educational content may become outdated as technology, pricing, standards, regulations, vendor products, and threats change.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the public website and free tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security outcome, compliance outcome, availability, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Edge Secure will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the public website or free tools. Limitations applicable to paid services are governed by the relevant client agreement. Nothing here limits liability where applicable law does not permit that limitation.

16. Governing Law

These website Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any rights or venue requirements that cannot lawfully be waived, disputes concerning these website Terms will be handled in an appropriate court located in Riverside County, California.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the website and services evolve. The date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the then-current Terms apply to subsequent use.

Your privacy, simply.

We’d like to use Google Analytics to improve this site and understand what leads to an inquiry. Optional analytics measures page views, referrers, tool starts and completions, contact-button clicks, and accepted inquiries—not your form answers. No advertising tracking.

Your local tool history still works either way. Change or withdraw your choice anytime in Privacy settings. Closing changes nothing.
