Managed IT Calculators

Compare costs using your own budgets and quotes. These are planning scenarios, not ROI forecasts, service quotes, or guaranteed savings.

Managed IT Spend Comparison

What changes in your budget if you move from your current setup to a proposed service?

Your Cost Assumptions

All amounts are USD. Replace the zero placeholders with comparable, all-in costs: support, licenses, infrastructure and retained expenses. Zero is valid, but does not mean a service is free.

Use your quote plus any costs that will remain; no managed-service price is assumed.

Your Planning Comparison

Enter or update your assumptions, then compare. Results are cleared whenever an input changes.

SharePoint vs On-Prem Server Cost Comparison

Compare shared-file storage budgets, with recurring and first-year costs kept separate.

Your Infrastructure Assumptions

USD estimates, not Microsoft list prices. All prices start at $0: enter your plan, region, billing term and Teams / no-Teams quote. Use full costs on both sides, or incremental costs on both sides; do not double-count existing licenses.

Example: 25 licenses. Only count licenses that contribute 10 GB to the tenant pool; not every Microsoft plan does.

Include versions, recycle bins and growth headroom. Do not count personal OneDrive capacity as shared SharePoint storage.

Your estimate, not a verified list price. Enter 0 only if there is no additional licensing cost on an incremental basis.

Enter your Extra File Storage quote. A zero placeholder excludes this cost; it does not imply free extra storage.

Include maintenance, power, backup, licenses and support labor.

One-time cost only. Enter 0 when no replacement is planned; server age does not impose a cost.

Include backup, administration, security and retained infrastructure costs.

Cost & Capacity Comparison

SharePoint shared storage: 1 TB per organization + 10 GB per eligible purchased license. This model uses 1 TB = 1,024 GB. Personal OneDrive storage is separate and is not pooled here.

Assumes an existing eligible tenant. Verify your actual entitlement in the admin center; education, frontline and other plans can differ. This is not a tenant eligibility check.
